Here is my spring card for the hop. When I think of spring I think “Flowers” and my favorite flower from the current catalogs is the hostess set “Best Thoughts”. Hostess sets are earned by being a hostess of a stampin’ party, a club hostess or a personal order over $150. This current catalogs have some of the best hostess sets!
I watercolored the flower on Shimmery White card stock after heat embossing it in white. I used Watermelon Wonder for the flowers. I love the depth of color I can get with just one ink pad. The stem is colored with Always Artichoke and the background in Soft Sky.
The card sketch came from a card I saw on Pinterest by Amy Sheffer. Here’s a quick video on how to put this card together.
