I was so excited when Stampin’ Up! introduced Enamel Shapes in most of their colors in the new 2016 Annual Catalog. I ordered all of them immediately. Don’t they make this card look so yummy! Find out more about this card here.
They are packaged in this molded plastic attached to chipboard back. Once you get the package open, you can’t really use them very easily or neatly to store the shapes in.
I had planned to use my solution for the other embellishments (Pearls, Rhinestones, and White Perfect Accents), the clear stamp box or the larger wood stamp box. But there are 37 individual sheets of shapes and I was afraid it would be a mess and require too much dig around in the box to find the color I want. I wanted something that I could keep the colors separate.
So I looked around my craft room and found a Project Life Espresso 6″x8″Album that I hadn’t used yet. PERFECT!!!
Here is the cover I decorated with the Stamps, DSP, and Washi tape from the Moroccan suite.
The Variety Pack 6″ x 8″ Project Life Photo Pockets work perfectly with the sizes of the acetate that the Enamel Shapes come on. The Metallic and the In-colors come on larger sheets of acetate, so I used the pocket sheets that have space for 2 photos. I cut Whisper White card stock to 5 1/2″ x 4 and added a 3/4″ stripe of the corresponding color along the top. I added the color name cut out with the new Classic Label Punch. I’ve included a PDF below with all the colors sized to fit inside the Classic Label Punch. I’ve also included the sheet in the front of the book listing all the different SKUs to order the Enamel Shapes. You can see this page in the video.
For the Regals, Brights, and Subtles they come on smaller sheets of acetate. I used a combination of the 4 pocket and 3 pocket photo pocket sheets to accommodate these Enamel Shapes. The Whisper White sheet in the smaller pocket is 2 7/8″ x 4. By adding this sheet, I can have different colors on each side.
