So I decided to try my hand at a challenge, but why do just one. I started with the Color Q Challenge #70 and then used the Create with Connie and Mary #136 for the design.
And here it is…………
What do you think? I was a little intimidated by the color mix. I loved all the colors fanned out together but when it came time to put it all together, I got a little stumped. The easiest part was coloring the little girl from Greeting Card Kids. This is one of my favorite stamp sets to color.
Her dress was primarily blushing bride with cameo coral and poppy parade as accents. Her hair is a combo of daffodil delight and crumb cake and her skin tone is blush blossom. Once she was done it was time to get the card together. I couldn’t figure out how to get the cameo coral in the mix. I decide to try inking my embossing folder with my brayer in cameo coral and embossing the blushing bride with it. I love how it looks.
Do you like my scallop background. Can you guess how I did it? It’s the 3 pointed flower from the Island Floral die. I used 4 of them. Kinda cool look.
thanks for stopping by.
Linda
