Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups February Blog Hop!!  Here is my Easter Card.  I have to admit I was a little stumped the this month theme, as there are not of Easter Stamp sets in the catalogs……or so I thought.

I’ve used two stamp sets from the Annual Catalog, Circle of Spring and All God’s Grace.   All God’s Grace is really designed for baby/child’s baptism, christening and/or confirmation.   I love the cross in that set though.  I combined it with the wreath and sentiment from Circle of Spring.

I embossed the wreath, cross and sentiment in gold.  I love how they look.

What do you think of the cross?  I gold embossed the cross on Vellum card stock, then used a spray adhesive to attach the Vellum to Wisteria Wonder card stock.  After it dried, I cut it out with my Paper Snips.  I found spray adhesive is the only way to attach Vellum without seeing the adhesive.

I love how this card came out.  I colored the wreath with the following Stampin’ Write markers:

  • Wisteria Wonder
  • Soft Sky
  • Pink Pirouette
  • Soft Saffron
  • Wild Wasabi

    making a second trip through the hop to test out my “blog commenting ID” so not entering the giveaway again.
    I like how you layered the vellum on top of the cardstock to mute the tone, and the tied ribbon as an accent is effective. Like I said before — you DO make it look so easy in the video. 🙂

    Wow just pops, love the cross on your wreath, when seeing the stamps then a card made using them sure changes on what you were thinking of the stamp not seeing a card.
