Blog Hop: Hello Fall

Welcome to the very first Team Stamp It Blog Hop, “Hello Fall”…. and welcome to Crafty Stampin’!  I’m Linda and I’m the next stop on your Blog Hop.

So here’s my entry for the Blog Hop:

I love the combination of Gold and Blackberry Bliss!  This card started out so different, but I like where I ended up.   I used the maple leaf from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die, and cut out one from Gold Glimmer Paper and one from Whisper White.  I had also cut one from Blackberry Bliss and had planned to use all three in some manner, but I got to looking at the negative maple leaf from the Gold Glimmer paper and thought it was more interesting.  I used the #6 Square Framelit Die (count from the smallest to largest) and it perfectly framed the leaf and removed cuts from the other leaves on the die.

I inlaid the Whisper White leaf inside the Gold Glimmer, with the Gold Glimmer raised with dimensionals.  I gives a nice peek of a Blackberry Bliss boarder when looked at an angle.

I used the “Grateful for You” stamp in the Merry Everything stamp set from the Holiday Catalog. The ‘you’ was too big for my leaf so I masked it off with painters tape before inking. (Remember to remove the tape before stamping 😉 ).   The ‘you’ comes from the special Endless Birthday Wishes set.  Grab this set while you can, as its not in the catalog and could disappear at any time!

I finished up the card with Moonlight DSP, Whisper White Craft Ink stamped Hardwood on Crumb Cake, 1 1/4 Burlap Ribbon, and 1/8″ Gold Ribbon.
