Adorning Hearts Card

My Valentine’s Day project takes advantage of the full Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder. This is a large folder, 6″ x 6″, and will not fit on a traditional 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ size card. This card is 6 1/4″ X 6 1/4″. I created it out of 2 pieces of Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock, one 6 1/4″ x 7 1/4″ (scored at 6 1/4″) and one 6 1/4″ x 6 3/16″. I attach them together with SEAL and position the seam on the backside.
I have 2 additional Very Vanilla panels. The top panel is 6″ x 6″ and is die-cut with the large Adorning Hearts 9-heart die. The second is a bit smaller 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ and is embossed with the Adorning Hearts Embossing Folder. Attach the die-cut panel to the embossed panel with Dimensionals. Attach this full panel to the card base with more dimensionals.
The “love” die-cut comes from the Paper Pumpkin add-on for this quarter The Love of Spring Dies. I covered one side of a Real Red Cardstock with Adhesive Sheets then die-cut it so the entire die-cut love is adhesive. I finished the card with Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
My second card is a “mini” 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″. I use the blank die-cut hearts from the large card. Four were used as is and four were die cut with the detailed dies included in the Adoring Hearts Dies. I added Foam Adhesive to the hearts before die-cutting so they stand out on the card. To support the “love” die on the card, I attached it to the banner that is attached with 3 high stacks of Dimensionals.
I just love how they both came out.
