Do you like my bunny!!!!! I think he’s so cute. I’m not a big punch (die) art person, but I just loved this little guy. My idea came from the Dandy Garden card I made on the Stampin’ Scoop a few weeks ago.
The dies to create the dandelion I thought would make a great bunny tail! I cut 2 of each of the three sizes in Petal Perfect Cardstock, and attached them together with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then curled up all the sides, tada, bunny tail!!!!!
I grabbed the ‘Happy Easter” greeting from the Arrange a Wreath Stamp Set, stamped it in Gorgeous Grape Ink on Highland Heather Cardstock then cut it out with the label from the Perfect Parcels Dies.
I ended up using quite a few dies to create this card. I made a “map” of which ones & where.
The “grass” is from the Friendly Silhouettes Dies. They are actually catnine tails, and that throws the dimensions off, but it so off that when you look at it you don’t really see that way. The other dies we have with “grass” is from the retiring Special Day Dies, and it didn’t even look like grass next to my big bunny.
I cut the grass out with the Friendly Silhouettes Dies from the Pear Pizzazz Designer Series Paper, then cut it down with the size I wanted with the second largest Stitched Rectangle Die. The Blushing Bride Designer Series Paper main panel was cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die, so they are nest nicely together even if you can’t see most of the grass from behind the Wreath Builder Dies eggs.
The bunnies right ear is made up of two of the 2nd smallest Layering Oval Dies in Very Vanilla Cardstock. I cut and scored (see dotted line in photo) the top one, then attached a second one with the smallest Layering Oval Dies in Petal Pink Cardstock inside of it, also cut off. When put together they look like floppy bunny ear.
I used the Subtles & Brights Designer Series Paper as my background, grass, and easter eggs to add some whimsy instead of trying to make it more realistic.
Quite a few of the products I used are on the Last Chance (retiring) list and items are selling out quickly so don’t delay in ordering your favorites.
