Card:

This is a fun Halloween card I created with the Coming Home Bundle. Since the Coming Home bundle is shown as a Christmas set int he catalog I always find it fun to try different things with those sets.  The big focus on this card is the sky!!  Isn’t it cool?  I punched a 1 1/2 Circle Punch in a Post-it Note and placed the circle where I wanted the moon.  I first sponged, with a Sponge Dauber, Highland Heather Classic Ink, followed by Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink, and last Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink to create the darkening sky.  I then switch the Post-it to the full Post-It with the missing circle over the moon and sponged both Daffodil Delight Classic Ink and Mango Melody Classic Ink creating the spooky moon.  The starry night effect came from flicking Frost White Shimmer Paint from an old paintbrush.

The die-cut tree comes from the In the Woods Dies, and the fun little bats in the moon are from the Festive Post Stamp Set.  The house is colored with Stampin’ Blends in Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Mango Melody, and Blackberry Bliss.

I love the greeting “There is Magic in this Night” from the Hallows Night Magic Stamp Set. I could use that for so many other occasions, maybe an evening wedding?  Here I stamped the greeting in Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink on Mango Melody Cardstock that I punched out with the Label Me Fancy Punch and layered on a 1 1/2 Circle Punch of the Black Glitter Paper over the Mango Melody Designer Series Paper paper cut with one of the circle dies from the Tasteful Labels Die.

    I love a Halloween card that isn’t all scary. Your’s has a great feel to it. Also love when you come up with a new idea, like splattering the sky with the Shimmer Paint for stars. I like that!
