Welcome to Stamp It Group Valentines’ Day Blog Hop.  We are all using current Stampin’ Up! Products. Card:

Do you feel the love? My Valentine’s Day card features the Heart to Heart Stamp Bundle.  The card features this fun cut/fold that has the From My Heart Designer Series Paper on the inside of the card show on the front of the card.

This cut is really easy to create.  Just mark a 1-inch mark on the right side of the card front and a 2-inch mark of the left side with a pencil.

I then line up the two marks in my Paper Trimmer and cut off the bottom of the card base and tada!  To add a bit more pizzazz I took two strips of cardstock, one Whisper White and one Flirty Flamingo and attached them to the cut edge with a really small reveal – about 1/16 of an inch.

I love the font used for this greeting.  I stamped the greeting in Real Red Ink on Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and cut it out with the larger label die from the Lakeside Dies.  I backed that with a red metallic heart from the From My Heart DSP that I punch out with the scalloped heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. That is then backed with a Heart Doily.  The Heart Doilies come in both Real Red and Flirty Flamingo, but the backs are white, so I used the backside.

I covered the front of the card with the Detailed Heart Die that I cut a bit short to fit.  I chose to cut it in Real Red Cardstock, the same as the card base so it was more of a background item and not the focal point.

    #stampitcontest Linda, Thank you for using the hearts die cut, I have it but have not used it yet. I am busy making Valentine Cards for our elderly sick and shut ins from our Church, so I am gonna use your card idea for a few of them, just so they aren’t all the same. You are very talented and I like your card.

    #stampinupcontest Beautiful designs that make mass produced cards look generic. The intricate designs look like they took forever to make. The blogs have so many tips and tricks I just cant get enough to watch all the videos. Just breath taking, cannot wait to see more and learn more. Very relaxing to watch and make.
