Boxes:
Come meet Santa, Rudolph, and Clarice!!! I dug through all my dies and punches to come up with these adorable boxes that you can give with little treats or candy to share some Christmas cheer!!
First up Santa. The Santa box is the All Dressed Up Dies purse. I created the box in Real Red. It’s the perfect size box to put a few candies in a Printed Gusseted Cellophane Bag and drop it inside as a perfect little gift box.
To create the boss you need to cut the die 2 times to get the full box. Santa’s belt, belt buckle, and buttons all come from the same die set. I used the purse strap as the belt. The color comes from the “clouds” in the Happy Dies.
To get the perfect cut for Santa’s collar and belt I did the following:
- Collar
- Cut a purse front in Whisper White Cardstock
- Place the cloud die, from the Happy Dies set, over the purse front where you want it, then run it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.
- Belt
- Cut a purse strap in Basic Black Cardstock.
- Place the purse die over the purse strap in the location where you want it and run it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.
Rudolph and Clarice are made from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Die boxes. Rudolph is created with Early Espresso Cardstock and Clarice in Crumb Cake Cardstock. Once I found some dies that would work for eyes in the Wreath Builder Dies, then it was all about finding other fun elements to add. I love the little ears made from the leaf die in the Fabulous Florals Dies.
I used the Chalk Marker to add some reflection to the eyes and nose. On Rudolph, I added the Chalk lines after the eyes and nose were attached to the mini box. I thought it would be easier to add it before I attached them to Clarice. It wasn’t, her one eye is a bit off (don’t tell her.)
I did try to make a matching elf, but he ended up looking a bit more like Baby Yoda than an elf, so he’s been shelved for right now.🤣
I hope you liked my project. Please make sure you leave a comment with the hashtag #stampitcontest to win the Simply Citrus Card Kit, and visit each of the bloggers on this hop!
