Welcome to Stamp It Group New Catalog Ideas Blog Hop.  We are all using current Stampin’ Up! Products. Card:

My card uses the new Birthday Goodness Stamp Set.  While we were in Rome at the beginning of the month we ate gelato in the cutest little shop and they had a case full of the most colorful macarons and I wanted to create a similar look.

I colored the image with Stampin’ Blends, coloring the full macaron with the light shade, then following with the darker shade in the center. The macarons are from, L to R, Seaside Spray, Highland Heather, Pineapple Punch, Flirty Flamingo, and Mint Macaron (had too 😉.) The flowers are Petal Pink with the stand colored in Smoky Slate and a Pool Party Light highlight around the enter tower.

The color palette of Highland Heather and Pineapple Punch for the card base was then created around the colored image.  I added the Subtles DSP gingham pattern on an angle for some interest.  The gorgeous grape panels were added for the borders of the stamped image and the Pineapple Punch panel for interest and depth.

The finishing touches are the Subtles 3D Embossing Folder on the Pineapple Punch panel, using the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the stamped image and finishing it off with a few Rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
