September 2023 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives
Welcome to the A Paper Pumpkin Thing “APPT” Monthly Blog Hop! The PPX Crew has joined up with some additional Stampin’ Up! demonstrators to give you even more amazing alternatives with the Paper Pumpkin Kits. We blog hop on the first Friday of the month with alternate projects from the prior month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit. We are all using the current month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit and Stampin’ Up! Products. Happy Friday and APPT blog hop day! For the September kit, I just can’t get enough of the paper on the inside of the envelopes. I cut out the envelope paper to get as large of a panel as possible. I used Pepper Path Cardstock as my card base and also made it the backing to the envelope Designer Series Paper panel.
I cut up one of the boxes and used a panel of it, also backed with Peppled Path Cardstock to be my visual anchor.
I used the die-cut leaves and gold foil leaves as accents, cutting a couple of branches on the left side of the gold foil leaves and adding them to the bottom side of the greeting panel.
The greeting from the kit is heat embossed in gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powder on Pretty Peacock Cardstock cut out with an All About Autumn Dies label die.
To coordinate with my Thank you card I created a really simple cracker box with the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. It has a matching belly band from the envelope Designer Series Paper and is closed with Pebbled Path Jute Trim.
