Card:

I created this Thanksgiving card with two of my favorite Stamp Sets from the Stampin’ Up! (Holiday) July – December 2020 Mini Catalog.  Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set for the greeting and the flowers are from Autumn Goodness Stamp Set.  I paired them with the Plaid Tidings 6×6 Designer Series Paper.  This paper has really become a go-to DPS pack (today is the last day it’s on sale)!!!!

I stamped the greeting in Blackberry Bliss Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and die cut it with one of the nested labels dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies.  I backed it with a larger version of the same die in Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.  The flowers are from the  Autumn Goodness Stamp Set and are colored with Stampin’ Blends.  I stamped the flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, but I stamped off one time first so the ink is more of a gray.  I didn’t want the outline of the flowers to dominate the image.

When I colored the flowers with the Stampin’ Blends in the following colors:

  • Main flowers:  Light So Saffron, Light & Dark Mango Melody
  • Main flower centers:  Dark Blackberry Bliss, Dark Soft Suede
  • Side flowers:  Light Purple Pose, Light & Dark Blackberry Bliss
  • Leaves: Light Soft Sea Foam, Light & Dark Old Olive
  • Misc. sprigs: Light Crumb Cake  & Dark Blackberry Bliss
  • Surrounding: Light Seaside Spray

The center strip of Bumblebee Cardstock is embossed with the Tasteful Texture 3D Embossing Folder.  I finished the card with a few Coastal Cabana gems from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (they really are very light blue).  There is Seaside Spray in the plaid so I thought the blue went with the color scheme.
