Welcome to the Team Stamp It Thanksgiving Blog Hop! 🦃 I’m so glad you’re here. Grab a fork, then a bone folder. We are serving glossy leaves, cozy plaid, and pumpkins with a glow-up. This card is rich, shiny, and just sassy enough to flirt with your scrap bin. The background uses clear heat embossing for that tone-on-tone leaf shine. The focal image is colored with Stampin’ Blends, smooth as gravy.

What You Will Make 🍂

A Blackberry Bliss card with a clear embossed leaf panel, a plaid belly band, a stitched circle stacked with pumpkins and a tiny gourd, a simple sentiment, ribbon, and a sprinkle of sparkle dots. It feels like a sweater and looks like dessert.

• Card base: Blackberry Bliss, 4-1/4″ x 11″, score 5-1/2″
• Layer, Cajun Craze: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
• Embossed panel, Blackberry Bliss: 3-3/4″ x 5″
• Plaid strip, Timeless Plaid DSP: 1-1/4″ x 4.25″
• Cajun Craze, layer: 1-3/8″ x 4-1/4″
• White stitched circle, largest Stylish Shapes Dies: 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
• Sentiment strip: 1/4′ x 3-1/2″
• Ribbon: 8″

Step By Step 🧑‍🍳

• Emboss the background. Dust the Blackberry Bliss panel with the Embossing Additions tool powder. Stamp the Etched Autumn Stamp Set leaves with Versamark Ink. Coat with clear WOW embossing powder, tap off excess, and heat until glassy. Hello, classy shine.
• Build the layers. Adhere the embossed panel to the Cajun Craze layer with Seal and attach to card base with Dimensionals. Add the CajunCraze panel behind the plaid strip with Seal. Wrap the Mossy Meadow and Gold trim around the strip, secure on the back, then mount to the card base across the lower third.
• Stamp the pumpkin. In Memento, stamp the pumpkin cluster from Amber Autumn Stamp Set on Basic White. Die cut with the stitched circle.

• Color like you mean it:
  • Pumpkins: Pumpkin Pie light and dark, deepen shadows with Cajun Craze, pop highlights with Daffodil Delight or Lemon Lolly.
  • Gourd: Ivory with Crumb Cake shadows, a kiss of Lemon Lolly for glow.
  • Leaves: Old Olive with Lemon Lime Twist tips.
  • Stems and wheat: Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake, touch of Bronze.
  • Corn: Darling Duck & Daffodil Delight
  • Grounding: a quick sweep from the Neutral skin tone Blends so the image does not float.
• Sentiment time. Stamp Grateful For You in Memento on a skinny strip of Cajun Craze. Angle the ends if you are feeling fancy. Attach with Dimensionals to the greeting circle.
• Finish. Pop the circle on dimensionals. Add Low Profile Sparkle Dots. Step away before a fourth dot sneaks in. 🎯

Why It Works 👍

Clear embossing gives depth without shouting. The warm plaid softens the regal purple. A round focal point calms the straight lines. Your eye goes to sparkle, plaid, pumpkins, then back for seconds.

Quick Coloring Cheats 🖍️

Work one pumpkin at a time so the ink stays blendable. Lay light, add dark in the creases, sweep back with light. If a highlight disappears, tap with Color Lifter or the light yellow marker. Tiny Lemon Lolly strokes on the rounded tops read like studio lighting, no ring light required.
