Beside Me Father’s Day Card

For my Father’s Day project, I combined the new Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper and the “new-to-me” Beside Me Stamp Set image of the Dad and kids fishing. I thought the fishing imagery on the Designer Series Paper worked great with the stamped image. I used the Alphabet A La Mode Dies to spell “DAD” down the left side in Peppled Path Cardstock backed with Foam Adhesive Sheets.

The card base front only goes part way, showing the inside of the card when the card is closed. The 2nd “D” from Dad is actually attached to the inside of the card. I used the largest banner from the new Nested Essentials Dies and cut out the Mossy Meadow fishing lures sheet from the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper.

- Little Girl & Little Boy’s hair: Wild Wheat L & D
- Dad’s hair: Pecan Pie L & D; Wild Wheat D
- Little Girl & Little Boy’s skin: 800
- Dad’s skin: 700
- Dock: Pebbled Path L & D
The inside of the card has a Very Vanilla Cardstock panel for your handwritten greeting with the stamped greeting from Beside Me Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight Ink.

Loved the Father’s Day card.
For me I liked the split or half effects which makes it look as one scene. Also like the vertical lettering instead of the usual horizontal way.
