WHOA!!! Check out my Triptych Gate Fold Card. ( I just made that up🤣). I honestly don’t know what to call this card. It’s got 3 panels, so Triptych and its base is a Gate Fold, so Triptych Gate Fold sounds good to me.
To create the base for this card, start with a 12″ x 5 1/2″ panel and score @ 2″, 4″, 8″, 10″.
Fold so the 2″ & 10″ scores folded out, and the 4″ & 8″ scores folded in. This will give you the panels to attach your stamped images. The finished card is 4″ x 5 1/2″, or just a smidge smaller than the standard card size. Each of the 3 panels is 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″.
The front of my card includes the image of Dad mowing the lawn from the A Cut Above Stamp Set. I colored the image with various Stampin’ Blends. I added the greeting from Handsomely Suited Stamp Set, stamped directly on a piece from the Beauty of the Earth DSP.
The middle panel features the cut tree from the Woodland Wonder Stamp Set.
The middle panel has Dad enjoying a break in the hammock. I used more of the Beauty of the Earth DSP to replicate grass and sky.
I hope you liked my project. Please make sure you leave a comment with the hashtag #stampitcontest to win the Hello Dear Friend, and visit each of the bloggers on this hop!
