Happy New Year!!! – well almost Happy New Year 😉. To be honest, creating New Years projects just challenge me. I think I feel too constrained, but I like how this card came out.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog Hostess Warm Hearted stamp set for the “New Year” greeting. The stamp actually has the “Cheers to the” before the “New Year” but I masked it off with washi tape before inking the stamp with Versamark Ink and heat embossing in Gold.
I then used the “Happy” from Thoughtful Banners stamp set to adjust the greeting to say “Happy New Year“.
The banner with the “2019” is created with the Broadway Lights Specialty Designer Series Paper. One of the sheets has just a string of numbers, Zero to Nine, then they repeat.
Luckily, the numbers I needed were all together so I only used a small portion of the paper. Paper hoarders raise your hand 🙋♀️).
I fussy cut each number then popped them up on dimensionals inside a frame from the Broadway Lights Framelits in Gold Foil. I used the die itself to trace, then fussy cut, on Basic Black to create a backing to attach the Gold Foil frame too. I added the medium Pearl Basic Jewels to each “light” on the frame.
I hope you liked my project. Please make sure you leave a comment with the hashtag #stampitcontest to win the Lots of Happiness Card Kit, and visit each of the bloggers on this hop!
