November 2023 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives
Welcome to the A Paper Pumpkin Thing “APPT” Monthly Blog Hop! The PPX Crew has joined up with some additional Stampin’ Up! demonstrators to give you even more amazing alternatives with the Paper Pumpkin Kits. We blog hop on the first Friday of the month with alternate projects from the prior month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit. We are all using the current month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit and Stampin’ Up! Products. I’m Linda Cullen from Massachusetts and you are visiting my blog Crafty Stampin’. Gift Bag & Tag
For my Paper Pumpkin alternative project for the APPT Blog Hop is a handmade gift bag. I treated the bag like a large greeting card. I found several Designer Series Paper sheets with colors matching the boxes from this month’s boxes.
The Cherry Cobble check comes from the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper, the Night of Navy is from the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper, and the Mossy Meadow panel from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper.
I cut up the little house box to give it more dimension. I cut the ‘roof flap’ off and attached it over the roof with Dimensionals. I removed the dormers from the other house in the kit and added them to the roof with Mini Dimensionals.
I created a simple Misty Moonlight tag to go with my bag. I cut the top with the 6th smallest Deckled Circles Dies. I simply put the paper through the middle of the circle die so it would only cut one half. I stamped the front door & greeting stamp included in the kit in Night of Navy Ink and cut out the bottom notch with Paper Snips.
