Here in the Northeast of the USA, we are expecting spring to show up soon. I’m in need of some bright colors that spring brings and Happiness Blooms Suite gives me that until the flowers start actually budding out of the ground. I used the Life Is Grand Stamp Set for the “hello” and fussy cut in out. I had originally heat embossed it in White Stampin’ Embossing Powder, which you can still see with the comma, but I decided I didn’t like the look for this stamp.
The flowers on the Call Me Clover Stitched Shapes Framelit oval is from the Happiness Blooms Memories and More Card Pack which perfectly matches all the other elements of the suite and has some great accents. The “Friend” die cut comes from the Well Written Framelits Dies and adds a nice contrast in Lovely Lipstick card stock.
The Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper can be a bit busy – as pretty as it is – so I like to tone it down with a strip of Vellum cardstock.
