February Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card
Welcome to February Paper Pumpkin PPX Crew Monthly Blog Hop. The PPX Crew is a group of demonstrators who have gotten together to give our subscribers and team members exclusive monthly alternative videos each month with ideas from that month’s kit. We have decided to provide everyone with a bit of inspiration via a monthly Blog Hop. We are all using the current month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit and Stampin’ Up! Products. I’m Linda Cullen from Massachusetts, USA and you are visiting my blog Crafty Stampin’. At the bottom of the blog post, you will find a list of all the participating blog hoppers so you can move along from blog to blog and see all the fantastic projects.
I LOVE this kit!!! The colors just speak to me. I used a lot of elements from the kit to create my alternative card. I started with a Rich Razzleberry Cardstock card base and cut the card bases from the kit up to use as the Designer Series Paper on my card. I cut the kits Bumblee & Fresh Freesia card bases to 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ respectively and attached to my card base but not before tucking one of the die-cut Fresh Fresia leaves under the Designer Series Paper panels.
I stamped the greetings from the kit in Rich Razzleberry & Soft Succulent Ink on a piece of Basic White Cardstock that I die cut out with the Tasteful Labels Dies. I back that with a second piece of the Fresh Freesia card base that I die cut with a second die from the Tasteful Labels Dies and one of the circle die cut vellum pieces from the kit. I tucked a few of the leaves from the kit around the greeting.
I finished the card off with a few light purple pearls from the Pastel Pearls – gotta have some bling.
I hope you liked my project. Be sure to follow along with all the other PPX Blog Hoppers. Leave a comment and let me know what you think!
