Good Morning and Welcome to the Team Stamp It, Designer Series Paper Blog Hop. If your coming from Siara Acdal’s, Siara’s Sweet Sensations, welcome! If not, don’t worry, just follow the “next” and “previous” button on all the blogs and you will be taken along to all the great blogs!
For this Blog Hop we chose Designer Series Paper (DSP), and I choose the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper. When I work with Stampin’ Up!’s DSP I alway check the list of coordinating colors and pull out all those ink pads and one sheet of each of the cards stocks. This is my color palette.
I decided I wanted to show off the Schoolhouse DSP with all the great dies that we have. The Fry Box, Hamburger Box and the Cutie Pie die – or the Pie Die!
These are great dies make for gifts and favors.
I made the base of the three boxes Basic Gray.
I used the coordinating Sweet Stack stamp set to decorate the Cutie Pie Die Box.
I stamped the greeting two times on Whisper White, once in Pacific Point and again in Tangerine Tango. I punch out the “of” with the 3/4″ circle punch and popped it up with dimensionals. I used the big polka dot DSP and the orange strip DSP to decorate the pie!
The thinlets all come with lots of extra dies. The Cutie Pie dies has this little bow included. I added it to the back of the box.
For the Cutie Pie Die, I filled it with candy. The perfect favor or little thank you!
I added little velcro dots that I got at a sewing store to the back so I could fully cover the back with DSP, and make it so my recipient could get to the candy without ruining the box.
My next project was the Hamburger Die box. I used the bicycle DSP, and made sure that the bike was in the center of the paper for the top. I also used the green letters as a belly band.
The ‘for you’ is from the All About Sugar stamp set. I cut it out with paper snips, then backed it with Tangerine Tango Washi Tape Punch & popped up on dimensionals.
Inside the box are 5 mini 2×2 cards. I punched out the bicycles from the DSP – no stamping required.
Really cute and simple. Perfect for a cute note in a lunchbox or briefcase to say “hi” or ‘thinking of you”.
I choose to use the card stock that matches the color of the bike in the DSP, but you could easily mix it up!
The cards fit nicely into the Hamburger box. I didn’t have any color ribbon that matched the DSP, so I took the White Organza Ribbon and my Stampin’ Write Markers and colored it to match the card stock.
For the Hamburger Box I attached the same small velcro circles to the ribbon so the box could easily be opened and closed, but they really didn’t stick too well…..oh, well!
So my last box was the Fry Box. I loved this box when it came out last year, and now it has the All About Sugar stamp set to coordinate and it’s just so fun!
The DSP was added to the back inside of the Fry Box for interest.
I layered the front of the Fry Box with lots of stamped elements – all from the All About Sugar stamp set and the new White Perfect Accents. The Daffodil Delight starburst is from the Bakers Box Thinlet’s die.
To go inside the box I created 4 tags.
Four cute tags for any occasion!
I used sentiments from Amazing Birthday, Sweet Stack, and Homemade for You! There are so many cute sentiments in these sets I could have made ton’s of tags! (but I ran out of time, oops)
Again I colored the ribbon with Stampin’ Write Markers. Let me know how you like them!
I hope you enjoyed my projects for the Designers Series Paper Blog Hop. Next up is Kathie Rotti with Kathie loves Stamping. Go see what creations all the ladies created and be sure to come back!
Thanks
Happy Stampin’
