Christmas in July Blog Hop

I decided to create wine gift bag.  I have to say this bag is stunning.  I’m not sure the photos can do it justice.

Here is a close up view of the center detail.  The Gold Glimmer “snowflake boarder” is made with elements from the Flourish Thinlits.

Here’s what the back of the detail element.  I used 4 of the larger flowers/snowflakes, and 4 of the smaller flowers/snowflakes from the Flourish Thinlits.  I ran small strips of Snail around the edge of the labels die from the Lots of Labels Thinlets, then attached the snowflakes.  Using Snail allowed me to re-adjust their positions until I had them exactly where I wanted them.July Blog Hop5WM To make sure the snowflakes wouldn’t move once I had them in place, I took a smaller label from the Lots of Labels dies, and attached Fast Fuze to the edges and middle, then added Tombow Multipurpose Flue too.  I added this to the back covering the snowflakes.July Blog Hop6WM

The devil is in the details….I used the long fancy die from the Flourish Thinlits and used them as a boarder behind the main panel.  The length of bag is about 13″ so I need to use about 2 1/2 lengths to go the entire distance.  I just did my best to match up the patterns.  I didn’t worry about it being perfect as it is not the focal point on the bag.
