You Can Create It

I’m so excited to be part of the international “You Can Create It!” group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.  The group was started by German demonstrators Anja Luft and Heike Fallwickl as a challenge to see what different and beautiful projects can be created from the same list of just a few materials.

Every trimester there are 4 monthly envelopes plus an extra envelope.  Each designer will use the monthly envelope, items from the extras envelope, and anything else they wish to add to create projects that we will share on the 2nd of the month.  You can join in by purchasing the quarterly project kit and you can share your creations on my Facebook VIP site, Crafty Stampin’ VIP Stampers, and use the hashtag #ycci. My Creation – Everyday Arches

Welcome to the February envelope challenge for the You Can Create It team.  I honestly had a hard time with this challenge.  I saw some cards that Lisa Curcio posted today and it gave me the inspiration I needed.  I used all of the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper in the envelope very creatively to make sure I could create this fun card.

I first scored my Thick Basic White cardstock at 4″ & 9-1/2″ to get this Hinge Fold fun fold.  I cut the Lemon Lolly Cardstock & the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper with the Everyday Arches Dies.

To get the most out the the 2 4″x6″ Designer Series Paper pieces that were in the envelope, I needed to cut the section I used for the bottom of the front flat out of the middle of the 4″x6″ panel so I can use the opposite side on the front with one of the die-cut arches covering it.  I used the greetings from the Everyday Arches Stamp Set in Pecan Pie Ink and finished with 3 of the Tiny Bee Trinkets included with the kits.  I used the Mini Glue Dots that I folded in half to attach the Bees to the card.

I hope you like my project. The rest of the team’s projects have the same base supplies, and it’s always amazing to see how different each one can be.
