Waterfront Nighttime

Card:

I showed this card off during our Stampin Scoop Show this past week featuring the Stampin Up Waterfront Stamp Set and I think it’s just so cool!  How great does the Night of Navy Ink look on the Night of Navy Cardstock?

To create this scene I started with heat embossing the moon in White Embossing Powder.  I want it brighter than then the rest of the card.  The mountains are stamped multiple times down both sides of the card.

I stamped the “water” in Whisper White Craft Ink and filled in the gaps with the single straight stamp.  I stamped over some of the dried Navy mountains to get the look I wanted.  After everything dried, you can’t tell.

I added stars in the sky in Whisper White Craft Ink, and I  some treetops in Night of Navy.  I show how it did it on “The Scoop” by not adhering the stamp to the block.  I finished the card with the Chalk Marker to add some twinkle to the night lake.
