Ready for two days of serious card-making fun? The Stampin’ Up!® Virtual Card Retreat is coming October 1–2, 2026, and this one is all about learning new techniques, creating gorgeous cards, and spending time with fellow paper crafters.

And yes, your craft table may be a glorious disaster by the end. That’s how you know it was a good retreat. 😉

What Is the Stampin’ Up!® Virtual Card Retreat?

The Virtual Card Retreat is a two-day online crafting event hosted by Stampin’ Up!® staff.
During the retreat, you’ll create 15 beautiful, technique-focused cards using the exclusive 2026 October Card Retreat Kit.
You can craft along live, learn new techniques, connect with other card makers, and even have a chance to enjoy some fun giveaways along the way.
It’s also perfectly timed to kick off the celebration of World Card Making Day on October 3. 🎉

Virtual Card Retreat Details

📅 Dates: October 1–2, 2026
⏰ Time: Begins at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time each day
- Plan for up to seven hours of crafting each day.
💻 Location: Private Facebook Group
💰 Kit Price: $165 USD
🛍️ Kit Available: September 1, 2026
✂️ Projects: 15 technique-focused cards

The event is open to card makers of all skill levels. Some projects may be a little more challenging than others, but you don’t have to race to keep up.

Craft live if you want, or work through the replay at your own pace.

Your Kit Is Your Retreat Ticket

There is no separate registration fee for the Virtual Card Retreat.
Purchasing the 2026 October Card Retreat Kit gives you access to the event.
Inside your kit, you’ll receive a card containing your personalized link to the exclusive Facebook group where the retreat will take place.
Once your kit arrives, I recommend joining the Facebook group right away. Approval can take 2–3 business days, and nobody wants to be knocking on the virtual craft-room door while everyone else is already stamping. 😉

How to Join the Facebook Group

When requesting admission to the retreat group, you’ll need to complete the group admission questions and provide:

• Your name
• The email address used to purchase your kit
• Your 2026 October Card Retreat Kit order number
• Agreement to the group rules

Your order number can be found in your kit purchase confirmation email.

Get Ready Before Retreat Weekend

Approximately two weeks before the retreat, Stampin’ Up!® will post step-by-step project instructions in the Facebook group.
You’ll also get access to a preparation video so you can gather your cardstock, pieces, and supplies before the live event begins.
That means less cutting while everyone else is stamping, which sounds like an excellent plan. 😄

Can’t Attend Live?

No problem.

After each live session, the retreat videos will remain available inside the Facebook group so you can watch them again and work through the projects at your own pace.

You may even be able to purchase the kit after the live retreat, while supplies last, and then watch the recordings.

The Facebook group will eventually be archived, so I wouldn’t stash the kit in the craft room and plan to get around to it sometime in 2034. 😉

Do You Need to Be an Experienced Card Maker?

Absolutely not.

The Virtual Card Retreat is designed for card makers at different experience levels.

You’ll be guided through each project step by step, and because the videos are available afterward, you can pause, rewind, and take your time.

That makes this a fun way to stretch your creativity without feeling like you’re trying to keep up with a crafting marathon.
