Hello, friend, and welcome to the Team Stamp It Easter Blog Hop. If you are arriving from another stop on the hop, I am so happy you are here. If this is your first visit, welcome. Settle in, grab something cozy to drink, and let’s talk Easter cards instead of all the other things we are supposed to be doing. 😄

This month’s theme is Easter, and I could not resist creating a sweet little basket card filled with colorful eggs and cheerful spring detail. This one has that clean, happy look I always love for Easter, with a mix of gingham, bright color, texture, and just enough dimension to keep things interesting.

At the bottom of this post, you’ll find the full hop list so you can click from blog to blog and soak up all the Valentine inspiration, and be sure to leave a comment on every blog using the hashtag #stampitcontest for a chance to win the Adventure Awaits Kit!

Easter Basket Card

For this card, I used the Easter Basket Photopolymer Stamp Set and the coordinating Easter Basket Dies. The basket is the star of the show, and honestly, it is doing the most in the best possible way. Between the layered eggs, the woven basket detail, and that sunny Crushed Curry bow, this card feels like spring showed up dressed for the occasion. 😊

The color combination here is one of my favorite parts. Misty Moonlight gives everything a crisp, classic base, while Strawberry Slush adds that playful pop of pink. Granny Apple Green brings in a fresh springy feel, and Crushed Curry adds just the right warm accent. It is bright, happy, and very Easter without looking like a jellybean factory exploded on the card.

Design Details: The Little Things That Make It Work

Here is what I used and how it all came together.

The patterned background
I used Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper for the background panel. The gingham pattern gives the card that cozy, country Easter feel, and it makes the basket and eggs really stand out. Sometimes patterned paper does all the heavy lifting, and frankly, I am not here to argue with that.

The basket focal point
The basket was die-cut from Basic White cardstock using the Easter Basket Dies, then layered over Misty Moonlight so the woven openings would really pop. This gives the basket more depth and keeps the white die cut from fading into the card front.

The eggs and grass
I tucked in a mix of patterned eggs behind the basket, along with a strip of Granny Apple Green grass. That layering gives the card dimension and makes the basket feel full and playful. A few of the eggs peek out from behind the sentiment, too, which helps carry the design across the whole card front.

The bow
That little Crushed Curry bow is a tiny detail, but it makes a big difference. It breaks up the blue and pink, adds warmth, and pulls your eye right to the focal point. Basically, it is the accessory that makes the outfit.

The sentiment
I stamped the Happy Easter greeting in Strawberry Slush for a bright, cheerful finish. Using the pink ink here ties the sentiment to the eggs and keeps it feeling soft and springy rather than too bold.

The finishing touch
A few 2025 to 2027 In Color Flat Pearls add just a bit of shine and color. I love embellishments like this because they make the card feel polished without taking over. We want elegance, not craft-supply panic.

Quick Tips: If You Want To Recreate This

If you make your own version of this card, here are a few tips to make it easier.

Use dimensionals behind the basket and eggs to create separation. That layered look is what gives the card its charm.
Add the sentiment strip after placing the basket to ensure everything overlaps naturally.
If you are using patterned paper on the eggs, mix up the patterns a bit. It keeps the design playful and makes each egg stand out.

Keep Hopping ⭐️

Thanks so much for stopping by my Easter project for this month’s Team Stamp It Blog Hop. I hope this little basket of eggs brought a smile to your face and maybe inspired you to pull out your spring supplies and start creating.

Be sure to keep hopping through all of the beautiful projects in this month’s lineup. You will find the full list of blog hoppers at the bottom of this post. And do not forget to leave a comment on each blog with the hashtag #stampitcontest for your chance to win this month’s giveaway.

😊 Include the hashtag #stampitcontest in your comment on each blog for your chance to win the Adventure Awaits Kit.
