Spring!!  I can’t wait!!!  So looking through my supplies, I quickly decided that the By My Side Stamp Set, little kids with little animals, would be perfect.  I paired it with the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper and I think I got all the ‘spring feels’!!  What do you think?

My first card features the little girl with the butterfly.  I fussy cut each of the kids after coloring them with Stampin’ Blends. All the cards use the same Designer Series Paper panel as the background.  I used the back side of this Designer Series Paper, the Mango Melody stripes cut with the large circle from Layering Circles Dies. I added a smaller circle of  Vellum to help the little girl stand out.

I used the following Stampin’ Blends for this little girl:

  • Hair – 100 & 200
  • Skin – 400
  • Butterfly – Granny Apple Green; Daffodil Delight; Sweet Sorbet
  • Dress: Flirty Flamingo; Sweet Sorbet
  • Shoes:  Basic Black

The second card features the little girl with the bird.  This time I added the Mango Melody plaid piece from the Brights Designer Series Paper Pack.  I used the largest circle die cut of the sky section of the Designer Series Paper for the background for the little girl.

I used the following Stampin’ Blends for this little girl:

  • Hair – So Saffron & 800
  • Skin – 900
  • Glasses – skin 900 & space Balmy Blue
  • Dress – Highland Heather & Starry Sky
  • Bird – Sweet Sorbet
  • Shoes – 200

My last card features the little boy and his dog.  I used another Mango Melody panel from the Brights Designer Series Paper Pack as the background for the card base.

I used the following Stampin’ Blends for this little boy:

  • Dog – 600
  • Hair – 900 & 800
  • Skin – 700
  • Shirt – Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam
  • Shorts – Night of Navy; Blamy Blu
  • Shoes – 600
