Summer around here means Birthdays!!  We seem to be attending Birthday Parties all summer long so I like to have a supply of Birthday Cards ready to go.  The Party Puffins Stamp Set is perfect for fun and happy cards.  The background paper is FREE Hostess Paper, Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.

I created a fun card by cutting 2″ off the bottom of the front of the card base, then added a scalloped border with the scalloped die from Scalloped Contours Dies. Now the Designer Series Paper on the inside of the card is also visible when the card is closed.

The greeting is stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink on Pool Party Cardstock and punched out with the Label Me Fancy Punch.

I stamped the cake inside the card.  I colored everything with Stampin’ Blends.

 

I created a fun border around the image of the puffin with the spiral circle die found as part of the Painted Labels Dies, then finished it off with the Playing with Patterns Resin Dots.
