For today’s hop, I decided to make a Candy Bard slider from the Lots to Love Box Framelit Die and a matching note card from the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes.  The die and notecards are part of the Painted with Love Suite from the 2018 Stampin Up Occasions Catalog.

The Candy Bar Slider is made with Rich Razzleberry cardstock and a Peekaboo Peach 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon……I know …. really.  I would never have put these two colors together but the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper pulls them together wonderfully!!  I used the simple heart pattern for my box.

To create the candy box slider box, I just created to box like I would normally – Cut 2 box dies from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.  Turn one upside down, so there is a “tab” at the top and the bottom.  Attach the heart strip of DSP to the “top panel” (the one with the tab at the bottom). Trim the side tabs off the back (the one with the tab at the top.

To create the openings for the ribbon I used the smallest label from the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.  I centered it on the front and back panels of the box die to allow the ribbon to come through and hold the candy bar.  It allows the recipient to pull the ribbon to raise the candy bar up and out of the box.

My greeting comes from the Lovely Friends stamp set from the Annual Catalog.  I LOVE the fonts in this set.  I’ve used the “love” the most.  It’s heat embossed in Gold to coordinate with the DSP.

Attach both sides of the box and the bottom tab with Snail, Fast Fuse or Tear & Tape.

I used the Starburst Punch to punch out the Gold Foil and then I used the 2nd smallest curve heart from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies to cut out the center to highlight a Melon Mambo heart.  I then added a Gold Faceted Gem.

I added an oval of the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Layering Ovals Framelits using the 5th largest to add an additional pop of color.

When you are done, put thePeekaboo Peach 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon through the Banners slot, taunt.  Slide the candy bar down into the box.  Tie the ribbon in a pretty bow holding the candy bar snug.

Whisper White Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes are perfect for little Valentines Day love notes!  They would also make great lunch box notes thank you notes to add to a gift.  The note card is 2 1/2 x 4 1/2.  I decorated mine to coordinate with my box.  I used the same pattern from the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and the same greeting also embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  The heart is the cut out from the Candy Slider.  I added a small strip of Gold Foil under the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock strip.  I find it’s these little elements that can take a simple card to a “WOW” card.

The matching envelop has a envelop liner with the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper cut out with the 2 1/4 Circle Punch.  The same “love” greeting is stamped on the front with Rich Razzleberry Ink.
