For my blog hop project, I decided to make a 4th of July card with a folk art color combo. I like using Cherry Cobbler v. Real Red, Night of Navy v. Pacific Point and Very Vanilla v. Whisper White. I used the Stampin Up Calligraphy Essentials stamp set for my main greeting “celebrate”, and Sheet Music stamp set for the background. I added a Night of Navy panel in the back that I gold embossed all over with tiny stars from the Tabs for Everything stamp set.
The border under the greeting is from Delicate Lace Edgelits. I was able to create a unique greeting with the Make a Difference stamp set. Each of the letters in “the 4th” is stamped individually.
I finished off the card with Gold Foil stars from the Wood Crate Framelits and Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a Burlap Ribbon strip peeking out from behind the greeting.
I hope you liked my project. Please make sure you leave a comment with the hashtag #stampitcontest to win the Lots of Happy Card Kit, and visit each of the bloggers on this hop!
