You Can Create It

I’m so excited to be part of the international “You Can Create It!” group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.  The group was started by German demonstrators Anja Luft and Heike Fallwickl as a challenge to see what different and beautiful projects can be created from the same list of just a few materials.

Every trimester there are 4 monthly envelopes plus an extras envelope.  Each designer will use the monthly envelope, items from the extras envelope, and anything else they wish to add to create projects that we will share on the 2nd of the month.  You can join in by purchasing the quarterly project kit and you can share your creations on my Facebook VIP site, Crafty Stampin’ VIP Stampers, and use the hashtag #ycci. My Creation – Trucking Along Tag

My YCCI project for the February envelope is this adorable decorated Square Pillow Box and cutie patootie tag!  Thought the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper looked springy so I grabbed the Trucking Along Stamp Set, stamped the truck with flowers, and colored it with Stampin’ Blends.

My tag was created using the Tailor Made Tag Dies.  I used the largest tag die and cut 2 Basic White Cardstock & 2 Sweet Sorbet Cardstock pieces.  I cut the Sweet Sorbet Cardstock pieces in half, each in a different direction, and removed the center section – I just wanted the edges, then attached them to the back of the stamped tag to give the tag a border.  I attached the second basic white to the back.

I decorated the Square Pillow Box with the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper.  I cut the square top & bottom with Stylish Shapes Dies.

I threaded the ribbon through the bottom of the box.  I used the small die from the Give it a Whirl Dies.  I didn’t run the die fully through the machine, trying only to cut the largest circle.  I did get an impression from one of the other circles, but I was not worried I covered the section with the Designer Series Paper.

This cute little project would be perfect for a small gift.
