Shining Stars Dies: October’s $5 Product of the Month

A birthday card, a layered holiday scene, a little star-shaped package—one set of dies can take your crafting in several directions! October’s Stampin’ Up!® Product of the Month is the Shining Stars Dies (168600), with 23 dies in varying sizes for cards, decor, treat packaging, and more.

Add the Shining Stars Dies for $5 with a qualifying order of $75 or more, while supplies last. They’re a lovely way to bring a little star power to the supplies already on your wish list.

Four ways to let your projects shine

Make a birthday background. The white birthday sample pairs star-shaped openings with a pink-to-purple background. A few raised white stars add dimension without hiding the design.

Layer a celebration card. The lavender “Celebrate” sample mixes patterned star frames, soft pink outlines, and little yellow stars. Try this approach for birthdays, congratulations, or another happy milestone.

Frame a holiday scene. In the teal “peace. hope. joy.” sample, nested star openings reveal layers of paper and a tree scene. It’s a beautiful example of how a strong shape can frame a card’s focal point.

Dress up a small gift. The gold-and-white star sample shows a dimensional packaging idea with a hanging loop and a trail of tiny stars. Use the photo as inspiration for festive packaging or home decor. These are project ideas, not step-by-step tutorials.

How to add the Product of the Month

  • Sign in to your Stampin’ Up! account through my shopping link.
  • Build a qualifying order of at least $75. Keep the qualifying amount at or above $75 after applying discounts, coupons, or redeemed rewards; shipping and tax do not count toward the product threshold.
  • Once your order qualifies, add Shining Stars Dies, item 168600, for $5 before checking out. The product is not a free or automatic addition.

The set includes 23 dies; the largest measures 5¼ × 5¼ inches. Use with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, sold separately. Check your machine’s platform and cutting-plate requirements before purchasing.

Available while supplies last, limited to one per customer. October is this product’s featured month; no fixed month-end expiration is stated in the verified product listing. Check the store for current availability and full details.

Which idea would you try first: a birthday card, a holiday card, or a little star-shaped gift?

Happy stamping!
