November Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card

Welcome to PPX Crew Monthly Blog Hop.  The PPX Crew is a group of demonstrators who have gotten together to give our subscribers and team members exclusive monthly alternative videos each month with ideas from that month’s kit.  We have decided to provide everyone with a bit of inspiration via a monthly Blog Hop.  We are all using the current month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit and Stampin’ Up! Products. I’m Linda Cullen from Massachusetts, USA and you are visiting my blog Crafty Stampin’. At the bottom of the blog post, you will find a list of all the participating blog hoppers so you can move along from blog to blog and see all the fantastic projects.

Gift Bag!!!!  I love gift bags.  It’s like a big card.  The die-cut images from the November Paper Pumpkin Kit are large so they work perfectly for this type of project. I started with the background to cover the blank gift bag with a Poppy Parade Cardstock panel covered with the buffalo check pattern from the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper.

I added the word ‘Joy’ in the upper right corner with Poppy Parade letters cut with the Playful Alphabet Dies.

For the detail along the lower portion I took a Poppy Parade piece from the Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, cut it in half, and positioned it across the buffalo check.  The seem is hidden behind the snowman😉.  I embossed a piece of Old Olive Cardstock with the pine bough image from the Wintery 3D Embossing Folders pack.  The Old Olive panel is longer than the embossing folder, so you’ll need to run it through 2 times, one on each side, but again…..hide the seem behind the snowman.  The final touch is the Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon, tied in a bow.

The snowman die-cut fits perfectly on the front of the bag for a super cute holiday/winter gift-giving bag.
