You Can Create It

I’m so excited to be part of the international “You Can Create It!” group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.  The group was started by German demonstrators Anja Luft and Heike Fallwickl as a challenge to see what different and beautiful projects can be created from the same list of just a few materials.

Every quarter there are  3 monthly envelopes plus a quarterly extra envelope.  Each designer will use the monthly envelope, items from the quarterly envelope, and anything else they wish to add to create projects that we will share on the 2nd of the month.  You can join in by purchasing the quarterly project kit and you can share your creations on my Facebook VIP site, Crafty Stampin’ VIP Stampers, and use the hashtag #ycci. My Creation – Happy Holly-Days

Who doesn’t love a cute box?  I decorated my box with elements from the Happy Holly-Days Stamp Set.  I stamped the holly in Early Espresso Ink multiple times around the front of the box then colored them with Real Red and Old Olive Watercolor Pencils.  I used a 2″ x 6″ strip of the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper along the front & sides of the box.  I decorated it with strips of Real Red 3/8″ Mini Ruffled Ribbon and 3/8″ Gold Shimmer Ribbon, both attached with Tear & Tape.

I added a label created with the labels dies from the Seasonal Labels Dies.  The larger Real Red label is embossed with the boughs from the Winter 3D Embossing Folders and added a few Gold Holly Leaves as a final detail.
