Card:
My project for the Blog Hop is this cute and simple note card featuring the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird stamp set that is available in the upcoming 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog.
The birds are stamped directly on the Very Vanilla Note Card & Envelope in Soft Suede Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends very simply using Pool Party, Old Olive, Petal Pink, and Crumb Cake. I added a shadow of Light Smoky Slate to give them some depth.
The greeting was stamped in Soft Suede Ink on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and punched out with the Pretty Label Punch. I punched a matching piece of Petal Pink which I cut in half lengthwise and attached to the back of the greeting to make a border.
I added the new Petal Pink 5/8″ Organdy Striped Ribbon to the side for interest. To make it easy to wrap the ribbon, I used the Pretty Lable Punch and punch a small notch on the fold to feed the ribbon through. This ribbon makes beautiful bows.
