Day 4 of the Flowering Cactus Product Medley Showcase

Today is the final day of the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Product Medley Showcase.  Are you not LOVING this kit!!!  I’m not a huge purple fan, nothing against purple it’s just not the first color I reach for, but I just love this card.  This is my favorite card from the showcase.

I started with a card base of Highland Heather Cardstock and then stamped the flowers from the kit randomly all over the front in Highland Heather Ink for a tone on tone look. Then I took a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock and attached strips of the Designer Series Paper included in the kit, and rounded the end with the Detailed Trio Punch. This is great for all those scraps you have leftover from a project.  I wrapped it with some of the Calypso Coral twine included in the kit before attaching the panel to the card base with Dimensionals.

The greeting is stamped on Basic White cardstock in Calypso Coral Ink then cut out with the smallest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I added several small flowers in Highland Heather Ink randomly to finish it off.
