I made a matchbox gift box and matching note cards.  I can see these card being used as little notes placed inside your gift, so they don’t get lost, and can be extra personal.

The box is decorated with the Designer Series Paper from the Season of Cheer and measures 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″.  The wreath and greeting is embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.  I colored the leaves and berries with Stampin’ Write Markers, Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler.

The box has a notch on both sides so you can slide your finger in and pull out the inside section easily.  See the video below for a tutorial on how to make this matchbox box.

Inside are the 4 matching 4×4 note cards.

Each note card is the same.  I used gold foil, gold glimmer paper to accent the gold embossing powder.

After the Paris attacks I think the perfect sentiment for this holiday season is Peace.

Here’s a cheat sheet on how to punch/score your card stock to make the bottom of the box.  The blue lines are the score lines you will make with the Envelop Punch Board.  The pink line are the score lines you will cut with Paper Snips to make the box.  The orange lines are made with the diagonal plate for your score board.

      if I DO use my home address, there’s no way they can shield that; it’s a public record. They can list the mailing address as a PO Box or UPS store, but it’ll still show my home address. I’m currently stuck without a license and trying to find some kind of loophole to keep me legal and retain my privacy. It’s ridiculous.
