🎄 Wrapped in Cheer – November 2025 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives
A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop
Welcome to another A Paper Pumpkin Thing, APPT, Blog Hop. Each month, our creative crew reimagines the kit, proving you can absolutely think outside the box, literally. I am hopping with the talented PPX Crew and fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators to bring you fresh ideas and useful tips.
Each project in this hop features the November kit with coordinating Stampin’ Up! products. If you are new here, hi, I am Linda Cullen from Massachusetts, and you have landed on my blog, Crafty Stampin’. Scroll to the bottom for the full list of participating blogs so you can tour all the clever and colorful alternatives.

About the November Kit – Wrapped in Cheer
Deliver Christmas spirit in a box with the Wrapped in Cheer Paper Pumpkin Refill. These festive tags and coordinating boxes are the perfect size for gift cards and tiny treats! With foldable boxes, precut paper pieces, red-dot embellishments, and linen thread, this kit includes everything you need to craft thoughtfully decorated holiday gift packaging.
🎄 Joy Tags & Ornaments

For my APPT alternative, I turned the kit pieces into Joy tags that can also work as ornaments for the tree. These are perfect for dressing up a wrapped gift or hanging on a bottle of wine when you need a fast but fabulous hostess gift.
From the kit I used:
• Striped banner pieces for the background
• The big bow die cut
• The wreath stamp for a soft layered detail behind the sentiment

Then I brought in some coordinating Stampin’ Up supplies to kick things up a notch.
• Joy dies from the Abundant Joy Dies add-on, cut from Textured Metallic Specialty Paper for a shiny focal point.
• Party Banners Dies, I used the 6th smallest banner with Secret Sea Cardstock for a soft blue layer.
• Sweetest Star Punch for quick little star accents.
• Large Gold Hoops, attached with Mini Glue Dots so the whole tag can hang like an ornament.
The kits’ cozy reds and greens do the heavy lifting, then the Secret Sea and Gold Metallic details add that little “boutique gift shop” look without making the project fussy. If you can glue a layer straight, you can make these.

You can pop these on the front of a standard card, tie them on a small box, or slip one into a stocking. When the gift is opened, the tag can move right onto the Christmas tree as a keepsake ornament, so nothing goes to waste.
