✨ June 2025 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives – Full of Charm
Welcome to the A Paper Pumpkin Thing (APPT) Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we’re featuring alternative projects using the June 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit: Full of Charm. I’m so excited to be hopping with the talented PPX Crew and fellow Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators to bring you fresh ideas and creative inspiration.
Each project in this hop is made using the June kit along with coordinating Stampin’ Up! products. If you’re just starting here, I’m Linda Cullen from Massachusetts, and you’re visiting my blog, Crafty Stampin’. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to find the full list of participating blogs so you can check out all the fantastic alternative ideas!
🖼️ My Alternate Projects: Coordinated Card & Gift Box
🌿 Alternative Greeting Card
I created a clean and simple card using warm, earthy tones and a few unexpected textures.
-
Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock provides a rich, neutral base.
-
Layered Panel: I added Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, which I embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. The watercolor paper takes embossing beautifully and adds extra depth.
-
Die-Cut Detail: I cut one of the kit’s die-cuts in half—one half is tucked under a panel of Early Espresso, with a Pretty Peacock cardstock strip layered on top for contrast.
-
Greeting Panel: I punched another piece of embossed watercolor paper with the Modern Oval Punch.
-
The sentiment (from the kit) is stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock and die-cut with a Spotlight on Nature circle die.
-
A Mossy Meadow leaf die-cut (also from the kit) completes the look with a natural accent.
-
-
Embellishments: I finished the card with a mix of Muted Pallet Dots in Mossy Meadow and Neutral Matte Dots in white for subtle texture and shine.
🎁 Matching Gift Box
To complete the set, I created a small coordinating gift box—perfect for a small treat or trinket.
-
Designed to match the card using the same color scheme and embellishments.
-
The box closes with a piece of Basic Beige Classic Ribbon, threaded through a hole punched using the Hole Punch Assortment.
-
I’ve included the cut and score diagram below so you can easily recreate it.
