July 2024 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives
Welcome to the A Paper Pumpkin Thing “APPT” Monthly Blog Hop! The PPX Crew has joined up with some additional Stampin’ Up! demonstrators to give you even more amazing alternatives with the Paper Pumpkin Kits. We blog alternate projects from the prior month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit using the only items from the Paper Pumpkin Kit and Stampin’ Up! Products. I’m Linda Cullen from Massachusetts and you are visiting my blog Crafty Stampin’. Cards
The July Painted Petals kit is so stunningly beautiful that I want to use every piece in the box. Today I created 3 note cards from the envelopes from the kit. The card bases are made from Thick Basic White Cardstock cut to 8-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. To prep the envelopes, I cut the front off and attached a small strip of Mossy Meadow Cardstock along the left side. I cut the envelope front to 3-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ then used the opposite side of what was cut off and attached that to the card base.
I stamped various greetings from the kit to each note card in Mossy Meadow Ink in the upper right hand corner.
Each card was finished with various embellishments: Calypso Coral card – 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems; Mossy Meadow card: Pearl Trio; Melon Mambo card: Glossy Dots.
