SUMMER….Yeah!!!! Welcome to the Stamp It Group Summer Lovin’ Blog Hop! For the Summer Lovin’ Theme I used a few new products that you can start orders on June 2nd! First is my background paper, it’s the new 6×6 Cherry on Top DSP Stack (138443). It’s a fun and bright paper that can be used for lots of projects.
Next is the pinkish, reddish, coralish colored ink used on the flower is the new In-color Watermelon Wonder (138323). Lastly, the green “leaves” are another new In-color, Cucumber Crush (138335). Can you tell what I used for “leaves”? They are the wings from the Bird Builder Punch. They were just the right size!
I can’t fully explain why I added the inlaid “SUMMER” to the bottom, but I really like how it came out, so I’m going with the end justifies the means!.
I added faux stitching with the chalk pen around the perimeter of the DSP.
