For my card I couldn’t resist to use the new Bella & Friends stamp set. The adorable puppy reminded me of my Scarlett when she was a puppy. Here she is on the day we brought her home. She’s 12 now and age is really starting to make getting around difficult for her…but she’s my sweet baby.
I chose the stamp of the puppy being lifted up by a balloon and looking a a flying bird. I cut the red rubber stamp into two images, one of the puppy and one of the bird. Then I can stamp them separately easily. I stamped the puppy by itself and used the inside circle from the Sliding Star framelits to cut her out.
I stamped the bird on a separate piece and punched him out with the 1″ Circle Punch. To create the spinning bird around the puppy. I took 2 pennies and attached them with a dimensional. The outer DSP panel and the stamped puppy panel are raised up on dimensionals. The inner ring of DSP is attached to the card base with snail. This makes a ‘channel’ for the pennies to spin. The stamped bird is attached to the top penny with snail. Here is what the card looks like from the top down.
To make the balloon and cloud raised, but not in the way of the bird, they are on a double stack of dimensionals. The bird goes behind both.
