April 2024 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives
Welcome to the A Paper Pumpkin Thing “APPT” Monthly Blog Hop! The PPX Crew has joined up with some additional Stampin’ Up! demonstrators to give you even more amazing alternatives with the Paper Pumpkin Kits. We blog alternate projects from the prior month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit using the only items from the Paper Pumpkin Kit and Stampin’ Up! Products. I’m Linda Cullen from Massachusetts and you are visiting my blog Crafty Stampin’. At the bottom of the blog post, you will find a list of all the participating blog hoppers so you can move along from blog to blog and see all the fantastic projects.
Card
My cards for the APPT Blog Hop feature the card bases from the kit as my Designer Series Paper for my birthday cards.
Card #1 is Wild Wheat Cardstock for the card base and a front panel that is embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder. I cut the Night of Navy panel from the kit and backed it with a Crumb Cake Cardstock panel and then attached it to the card base with Dimensionals. I cut a Basic White Cardstock panel with a circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I stamped the greeting from the kit in Night of Navy Ink on the circle and added a die-cut “Hooray” in Wild Wheat from the Every Celebration Dies, the extras for this quarter’s kits. I fussy cut out some small balloons from one of the panels in the kit and attached them to the greeting circle. I finished the card with a couple of Opaque Sparkle Dots.
My second card has the same card sketch, I just changed up the colors based on the different card base from the kit.
