On-Stage Stampin Up Convention
OMG, I just had the most amazing time at OnStage in Secaucus, NJ this past weekend!!! Stampin’ Up! really knows how to put on a party, so much so that I had to take a nap on Sunday. It’s about a 3 1/2 hour drive from my home to Secaucus, but took us about 5 hours to get down there Friday night with stops for gas, and coffee and a few extra “sightseeing” navigational wrong turn issues.
I traveled down to New Jersey with Gianna Melone from Gigi Stamps and met up with Rachael Rife from Rach the Stamper, and Ronda Pinton. We are all part of the Team Stamp It Group and have only got to know each other via Facebook so I was great to meet in person. I have met so many wonderful friends because of Stampin’ Up! and now I have two more. I’m under a gag order on what I can and can’t tell you but note the fun ballon behind us. Wink Wink!
All the fun was happening at the Meadowlands Exposition Center for the day, and we arrived bright and early at 7am for check-in where we picked up our super cool goodie bags filled with a new occasions catalog stamp set, planning calendar for our next 6 month business goals, pens, and our name tags. I’m blessed with a wonderful team that helped me earn the leadership and recruiting banners on my tag. The “P” pin is my Prize Patrol group.
While waiting for the hall doors to open we each won a current product for answering Stampin’ Up! Trivia….I won a package of Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper. When the doors opened to the room, we were able to snag a front row table. Wahoo!
The theme for the day was “Celebrating You”.
For my swaps, I decided to make a version of my Moroccan Nights Thank You that I show off a few moths ago. I then made a Christmas card using the same card sketch. I made 48 of each card the night before we left for OnStage……just call me “Last Minute Lucy”. I find a plastic shoe box works best for swapping. I can put the swaps I receive in the back so they stay in pristine condition for the trip home. I always place each of my swaps in a Stampin’ Up Clear Envelope to protect them from sticking to one another and potentially getting destroyed.
In New Jersey we had Julie Gandy and Carrie Cudney from the home office with us for the day. The larger OnStage Live was going on at the same time in Australia, so Shelli Gardner, Sara Douglas and other corporate team members had their presentations recorded from down under and played for us, and at the other OnStage locations. After Sara’s keynote speech about what success means to each of us, it was catalog time!!! The room was full of oohs, and awes!
We were very lucky, each won a different prize patrol stamp set from the new catalog…no peeking!!! So stinkin’ excited.
Here’s my ‘haul’ for the weekend. Remember I said I was under a gag order. I can’t share the catalogs, or products until Monday Nov 7th at 3pm EST. Check back and I’ll post a a new picture with out the masks, and I can show you our make & takes too.
OnStage happens in November and April and every Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is invited to attend. In addition to everything I’ve already shown you, I get to pre-order items from the new occasions catalog a full month before the demonstrators who did not attend OnStage and two months before my customers. Do you want to join me in April? It’s super easy, sign up to be a demonstrator now. I would be honored to be your upline and help you reach your goals. Click here to find out more and join.
