2018 – 2020 In colors
Let me introduce to you the line up for the 2018 – 2020 Stampin’ Up In Colors!! I really like the line up this year. I think my favorite is Lovely Lipstick, but Blueberry Bushel will be a close second!
This is the first of a 3 part blog series on all the new colors enter the Stampin Up family this year.
- Part 2 will be published April 25th, and
- Part 3 April 27th.
Get a Color Coach with suggestions for color combinations using all the 2018 Stampin’ Up! colors on my Downloads & Resources page under “2018 Color Revamp”.
Let’s look at each one and compare them with current and retired colors.
Call Me Clover
Call Me Clover is a fun bright kelly green. I think it’s the closest to a true primary green that Stampin’ Up! has offered. It has less blue than Tranquil Tide and less yellow than Garden Green. I think it will be the perfect green to match with Real Red for Christmas projects.
Blueberry Bushel is going to be my answer to losing Dapper Denim. Like, Call Me Clover, I think Blueberry Bushel is very close to what I would call a primary blue and falls in the middle of Pacific Point and Night of Navy. I think it will look wonderful paired with the new Granny Apple Green and Real Red.
Pineapple punch is a bright, light yellow. I think this is going to look great paired with darker colors like Night of Navy. Again like Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel, I think this is close to a primary yellow.
Grapefruit Grove is a nice warm peach. I don’t grab for a peach color often, but I really like the tone of this color. I think it will look great with Old Olive and Night of Navy. It is a feature color in the Share What You Love Early Release Bundles!
Lovely Lipstick is my favorite of the new In Colors! I just love coloring flowers in pink, and I actually have to force myself to color them in other colors. I can’t wait to mix this with Lemon Lime Twist and Night of Navy. I’m afraid Melon Mambo might not get as much attention from my while Lovely Lipstick is in the mix.
You can get your hand on three of these colors starting May 1st during the Share What You Love Early Release. All of the new colors will be available on June 1st when the New Annual Catalog goes live! Make sure you’re on my list to mail a new catalog to in May.
